Where it all began:

The Pixel Minds Film Festival was born from the idea of bringing together creative minds inspired by the world of digital technology and filmmaking. In an era where short forms of content are becoming more and more popular, we decided to create a platform for those who know how to tell stories vividly, concisely and out of the box. The first year of the festival is the beginning of a big journey where every frame, every pixel and every idea matters!

What makes it unique:

Pixel Minds is not just a festival, it's a space for experimentation. We focus on short films that combine visual aesthetics, technological innovation and deep meaning. The uniqueness of the festival lies in its multi-genre nature: we accept works in the categories of animation, feature film, documentary and experimental video. In addition, we actively support young filmmakers, giving them the opportunity not only to show their work, but also to get feedback from industry professionals.

How to participate:

Participation in Pixel Minds is open to anyone who is willing to share their vision. We welcome both professionals and beginners, because the main thing is the idea and its realization.

The mission of Pixel Minds is to inspire, unite and discover new names in the world of cinema. We believe that short meter is an art that can change the way you look at the world, make you think or simply give you emotions. Our goal is to become a platform for dialog between creators and viewers, where every story finds its audience and every author finds an opportunity to be heard.

Pixel Minds Festival Event Plan:

🕙 10:00 - 11:30 | Opening
Live performance: a neural network (e.g. Sora) generates a greeting movie in front of the audience using keywords from the chat.
Kick-off ceremony: short speeches by the organizers.
Teaser bump: screening of 3-minute snippets of all nominees, edited by the algorithm into a single trailer.

🕛 12:00 - 14:30 | Non-stop screening of the winners of nominations (time will depend on the number of films).
The films will be shown in blocks of 15-25 minutes, with 5-minute interactives in between.

🕒 15:00 - 16:00 | Lab in an hour
Quick master class: creating a mini-film on Pika/Runway.
Pitching battle: 5 projects, 2 minutes each. The winner is determined by applause.

🕕 18:00 - 19:30 | Gala Final
Screening of the winning films in the categories:
- Audience Award
- Special Jury Prize: "An Unexpected Turn"
- Grand Prix: "Pixel Mind"

🕕 20:00 - 20:30 | Award Ceremony
🕕 20:30 - 23:00 | Closing Party
